Filson - Bags

Filson is a Seattle outfitter founded in 1897 by Clinton C. Filson to supply Klondike Gold Rush prospectors. Its bag line centres on Rugged Twill canvas and oil-finish Tin Cloth with bridle leather trim and solid brass hardware: field satchels, briefcases, duffles, totes, dry bags and hunting packs, most carrying a lifetime guarantee. The brand also offers repair and rewaxing services. Owned by Dallas-based Bedrock Manufacturing (Shinola's parent) since 2012, Filson has shifted much production offshore and to California while retaining some Washington manufacturing.
