GAUCHERE

GAUCHERE is a Paris-based French prêt-à-porter label founded by designer Marie-Christine Statz, a graduate of Parsons and the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. The house works in minimalism and precision tailoring, mixing formal and casual registers through asymmetric cuts, draped shirting, deconstructed suiting and fluid dresses, with collections developed in Paris using traditional techniques. Material traceability and ethical production are central; the brand sources through Nona Source, LVMH's platform for reselling luxury deadstock fabric. GAUCHERE shows independently on the Paris Fashion Week calendar and has partnered with the New York Philharmonic.
