What to know about Homecore

Homecore is an independent Paris label founded in 1992 by Alexandre Guarneri with sculptor Steph Cop, and is widely cited as France's first streetwear brand. Born out of early-1990s hip-hop culture, it moved within a few years toward timeless, utility-driven clothing built around the body, signalled by a signature red line running along the spine. Menswear and womenswear collections span moleskine and twill jackets, wide trousers, knitwear, caps, footwear and leather goods, using Italian, French and Portuguese fabrics with most production in Portugal. Guarneri still leads the brand, which operates Paris retail and collaborations including Veja.
