What to know about Kings Of Indigo
Kings Of Indigo (K.O.I.) is an Amsterdam denim label that Tony Tonnaer founded in 2011. Its designs mix vintage American workwear with restrained Japanese detailing. The brand makes jeans, jackets, tops and accessories for women and men from organic cotton, recycled cotton, linen and TENCEL, and it offers free repairs. Its jeans typically cost around €150. KOI went bankrupt in November 2022, and Kathrin and Sebastian Proft bought it that December. It now runs a brand store at Haarlemmerstraat 36 in Amsterdam.
