Kuboraum

Kuboraum is an independent eyewear label founded in Berlin in 2012 by Italian designer-sculptor Livio Graziottin and anthropologist Sergio Eusebi, who met at a city gallery vernissage in 2009. The pair work from a converted former post office on the old East-West border that houses the studio, showroom and store. Kuboraum calls its sunglasses and optical frames "masks," building oversized geometric acetate shapes, hand-hammered metal Z-series frames and titanium Hydromechanics pieces with burnt, textured and hand-finished surfaces. The slogan is "dreamed in Berlin, handmade in Italy." Frames typically retail around €430-€780.
