Mara Hoffman

Mara Hoffman was a New York womenswear label founded in 2000 by its Parsons-trained namesake, known first for bold-print swimwear and resortwear and later for a sustainability pivot into organic cotton, linen, Tencel and recycled fibers, plus textured "popcorn" dresses and bridal. The brand expanded its size range in 2018 and opened a New York store in 2022. In May 2024 Hoffman announced the Spring 2024 collection would be its last, citing the cost of sustainable materials and the strain of running a small, privately held company; retail and e-commerce wound down.
