Mugler is a Paris fashion house founded in 1974 by Manfred Thierry Mugler, built on corseted hourglass tailoring, sharply padded shoulders, spiral seaming and sheer mesh-panelled catsuits and bodysuits. It has been controlled by French beauty group L'Oreal since 2019, with the Angel and Alien fragrances driving most of its business. Casey Cadwallader led ready-to-wear from 2018 until early 2025; Portuguese designer Miguel Castro Freitas, an alumnus of Sportmax, Dries Van Noten and Christian Dior Couture, joined on 1 April 2025 and presented his debut runway collection for spring 2026 in Paris.
