Naturalizer
Naturalizer is a women's footwear label launched in 1927 by St. Louis-based Brown Shoe Company, now Caleres, which still owns it alongside Sam Edelman, Vionic, Allen Edmonds and Stuart Weitzman. The brand builds pumps, loafers, ankle boots, sandals and sneakers around contoured lasts, cushioned insoles and a wide range of sizes and widths. Caleres closed most Naturalizer stores in 2020, shifting the business to e-commerce, department stores and wholesale. Recent work centers on inclusive-fit messaging and an ambassador collective announced in 2024.
