OLD JOE BRAND

OLD JOE BRAND is a Japanese heritage label founded by designer Yusuke Takagi, a former freelance pattern maker who started the line in 2007. Collections reinterpret late-19th and early-20th-century American and European vintage workwear, uniforms and tailoring through considered silhouettes, corozo buttons and period-correct detailing. Garments are made in Japan using proprietary dyeing techniques derived from traditional Japanese methods, alongside durable denim, tweed, knitwear and leather meant to mature with wear. The brand operates a Tokyo flagship and a Kanazawa store, and wholesales to specialist retailers internationally.
