What to know about Rapanui
Rapanui is a circular clothing label founded in 2009 by brothers Mart and Rob Drake-Knight, who started with £200 in a shed on the Isle of Wight. It makes printed graphic T-shirts, hoodies and sweats in certified organic cotton, with nature, surf and coastal slogans rendered on demand in its renewable-powered Freshwater factory. Its Remill take-back scheme shreds and respins returned cotton garments into fabric blending 50 percent post-consumer recycled fibre. The founders also built Teemill, the print-on-demand platform behind thousands of independent brands. Tees run roughly £18-30, hoodies £40-55.
