Roberto Cavalli
Roberto Cavalli is an Italian luxury house built on animal prints, printed and treated denim, and patented leather-printing techniques developed by its founder, who studied in Florence and stayed there while rivals moved to Milan. The label broke through internationally in 1994 with its animal-print collections and remains known for body-conscious eveningwear, python and leopard motifs, silk dresses and embellished outerwear. The founder died in April 2024. The company has been owned since 2019 by Vision Investments, the vehicle of Damac founder Hussain Sajwani, which also licenses Cavalli-branded towers and hotels in Dubai.
