Rolf Ekroth

Rolf Ekroth is the independent Helsinki label of its namesake designer, a former social worker and professional poker player who studied fashion at Aalto University, won the 2015 Designer's Nest Award and reached the 2016 Hyeres Festival final. The brand mines Finnish youth culture, folk craft and nostalgia, translating them into clashing prints, wide pleated trousers, statement knitwear and technical outerwear, including recurring sleeping-bag-derived coats and jumpsuits. Circularity and sustainable materials guide production. Ekroth shows on the Paris and Copenhagen menswear calendars and sells through independent concept stores across Europe and Japan.
