Shoe Palace
Shoe Palace is a US sneaker and streetwear retail chain founded in 1993 by the Mersho brothers, who started with a shoe stand at San Jose's Berryessa flea market. Stores carry Nike, Jordan, Adidas and other athletic footwear plus licensed and house-branded apparel, with limited releases sold by raffle. JD Sports acquired the chain for $325 million in December 2020, leaving the Mersho family running it; the footprint has since grown from 167 doors to roughly 210, over half in California, with a localized flagship concept introduced in 2025.
