Silver Jeans Co.

Silver Jeans Co. is a denim label launched in 1991 by Western Glove Works, the Winnipeg family firm manufacturing since 1921 and billed as North America's oldest privately held denim producer. Founders Michael Silver and Allan Kemp debuted the unisex "Frisco" jean; the range now centers on fit-named women's blocks such as Suki, Avery and Elyse, plus menswear, in bootcut, straight and wide-leg shapes with stretch denim, elaborate washes and stitched pocket detailing. Still family-owned, it sells at Macy's, Buckle and Maurices, with CEO Suzanne Silverstein leading a Gen Z-focused rebrand since 2023.
