Sole St. Shoes is an independent, family-owned Denver sneaker and streetwear shop founded in 2005 by Zach Monks. It stocks major athletic releases, retro Nike and Jordan silhouettes, boutique-only pairs, grade-school sizing, sports jerseys and street apparel at mainstream retail prices rather than resale markups. The store spent 21 years on the 16th Street Mall, moving in 2022 from 716 16th Street to Denver Pavilions at 500 16th Street Mall. It announced a permanent closure, citing mall redevelopment disruption and rising operating costs.
