Steve Madden is a New York footwear and accessories label founded in 1990 by designer Steve Madden and now the flagship brand of Nasdaq-listed Steven Madden, Ltd., led by CEO Edward Rosenfeld. It translates runway and street trends into accessibly priced women's and men's shoes: platform and lug-sole boots, Western styles, chunky sneakers, slides and sandals, alongside handbags and apparel. In February 2025 the company agreed to acquire UK group Kurt Geiger from a Cinven-led group for roughly £289 million, adding Kurt Geiger London, KG and Carvela to a portfolio that also includes Dolce Vita and Betsey Johnson.
