Tamara Malas

Tamara Malas is a New York slow-fashion label founded in 2018 by School of the Art Institute of Chicago graduate Tamara Malas. It began as a plus-size line sized 14–32 and now spans roughly 0–36 (XS–6X). Collections are maximalist: whimsical prints, saturated color, sheer mesh, crop tops, dresses and matching sets, plus underwear, swimwear and puffer jackets. Garments are made ethically in small runs with local and international partners. The brand opened a Lower East Side store at 143 Ludlow Street in September 2024.
