thom/krom is a Berlin-based contemporary label founded in 2009 by German designer Thomas Kromik, a former department-store buyer and fast-fashion trend scout. The brand works within a strictly monochrome palette of black, charcoal and muted earth tones, building collections around garment-dyed jersey, textured cotton, scuba and matte technical cloth. Signatures include drop-crotch and slim jogger trousers, elongated raw-hem tees, layered hoodies and softly structured outerwear. Positioned in dark avant-garde territory near Rick Owens and Boris Bidjan Saberi but at lower prices, it sells through SSENSE, Antonioli and independent European stockists, with SS26 and FW26 collections in distribution.
