Walker Slater

Walker Slater is a Scottish tailoring brand founded in 1989 in the Highland village of Laggan and now based in Edinburgh. It builds men's and women's collections around British and Scottish woollens: Harris and Donegal tweeds, herringbone and check jackets, three-piece suits, waistcoats, overcoats and moleskin or corduroy trousers, cut in restrained, muted palettes and traditional weights. The label sells through its own shops and website rather than wholesale-led distribution, and shows regularly at Pitti Uomo in Florence, positioning tweed as year-round tailoring rather than costume.
