Walter Steiger

Walter Steiger is a footwear house founded in Geneva in 1932 by Walter Steiger Sr. as a bespoke shoemaking shop for men and women. His son Walter Steiger Jr. introduced ready-to-wear in the 1960s, opening a Paris boutique in 1974 followed by New York and London stores, and the business is now run from Paris with Italian production. Collections centre on sculptural heels, clean lines and balanced proportions across pumps, boots and loafers, and the studio has long produced runway footwear for Paris fashion houses.
