What to know about XLARGE
XLARGE began in November 1991 as a store on Vermont Avenue in Los Feliz, Los Angeles, opened by architecture graduates Eli Bonerz and Adam Silverman, with Beastie Boys' Mike D joining as a partner. The shop stocked blue-collar uniforms beside fashion, and an in-house label followed, defined by its gorilla OG logo. Tokyo arrived in 1992; Meguro-based B's International now holds worldwide rights and runs the brand alongside X-girl and MILKFED. Output centers on OG-logo tees, heavyweight hoodies, workwear-cut pants and steady collaborations.
