À La Garçonne
À La Garçonne is a São Paulo label built on upcycling: second-hand garments and leftover fabrics are recut into tailoring, jersey, printed shirting and accessories, sold beside vintage furniture in its Barra Funda store and a unit at Shopping Iguatemi. Alexandre Herchcovitch designed the collections from 2016, after leaving his eponymous label, until co-founder Fábio Souza took over as the brand's designer. Souza's São Paulo Fashion Week N58 show was entirely black and white, with a rope print as the main link to the label's reworked-vintage past.
