Above Average Studio is a Toronto jewelry label founded by Sarah Dunn, who previously worked at Muttonhead and Shopify. It makes demi-fine, everyday pieces in 14kt gold-filled and sterling silver, focused on tarnish-resistant, non-precious-price alternatives to fine jewelry. The range covers hoops and studs, chain necklaces, bracelets and rings in plain, scalloped and hollow forms, with a pared-back, classic aesthetic meant for daily wear and stacking. Pieces are handmade in Canada, sold direct through its own site and wholesaled to independent boutiques via Faire and Garmentory.
