Adieu is a Paris-based footwear label founded in 2012 by partners Isabelle Guedon and Benjamin Caron, who met in the Vendee seaside town of Les Sables d'Olonne before moving the project to Paris. The unisex line is built around numbered "Type" silhouettes: creeper-influenced derbies, loafers, boots and sandals set on thick crepe or lug soles, in polished and suede leathers with minimal hardware. Styles carry over season to season in rotating materials and colours rather than following trends, and sell through SSENSE, Smallable and independent stockists.
