BED STU
BED|STÜ makes hand-finished leather footwear and accessories, launched in 1995 under family-owned parent company Evolutions Footwear and still run by the founding family. The name and boxing-glove logo reference Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood. Boots and shoes are built in the company's own factory using Goodyear welting, hand-sewing and hand-weaving, then washed, tumbled and treated with proprietary finishes for a distressed, broken-in patina. The line covers men's and women's boots, sandals and oxfords plus handbags, backpacks, belts and wallets, with eco-conscious tanning central to its positioning.
