Bergdorf Goodman
Bergdorf Goodman is a New York luxury retailer operating two stores facing each other on Fifth Avenue at 57th Street: womenswear in the 1928 Beaux-Arts building and menswear at 745 Fifth Avenue. It sells designer ready-to-wear, eveningwear, fine jewelry, footwear, handbags and beauty, plus restaurants and a salon. Founded in 1899 by tailor Herman Bergdorf and renamed in 1901 after Edwin Goodman, it is now owned by Saks Global, which acquired parent Neiman Marcus Group in December 2024.
