Billykirk
Billykirk makes leather and waxed-canvas bags and accessories, founded in Los Angeles in 1999 by brothers Chris and Kirk Bray after a vintage watch-strap purchase. The range covers totes, messengers, duffels, wallets, belts, key fobs and leather cuffs, using American vegetable-tanned hides and solid brass hardware, produced in the US by in-house artisans and small workshops. Operations moved to a Jersey City, New Jersey design studio in 2005; the brand's former Orchard Street shop in New York is closed, and sales run mainly through its own site and stockists.
