Blenders Eyewear is a direct-to-consumer eyewear brand founded in San Diego in 2012 by Chase Fisher, known for polarized sunglasses, snow goggles and bold, high-contrast colorways sold mainly online. Most sunglasses sit in the $45-$80 range, and the brand grew through social media, influencer and action-sports marketing rather than traditional optical retail. Italian eyewear group Safilo acquired a 70% stake in December 2019 in a deal valuing Blenders at roughly $90 million, and now supports its manufacturing and international distribution. The label continues to operate under Safilo ownership.
