Bonds
Bonds is an Australian basics label founded in Sydney in 1915 by George Allan Bond, known for cotton underwear, socks, tees and the Chesty Bonds singlet. Its range covers men's, women's and kids' underwear, loungewear, sleepwear and the Wondersuit zip babysuit, sold through Australian stores and bonds.com.au. Owned by Pacific Brands until Hanesbrands bought it in 2016, it passes to Canada's Gildan Activewear via the US$2.2 billion HanesBrands takeover announced in August 2025; Hanesbrands had also flagged its Australasian brands for possible sale.
