Briggs & Riley is a Long Island-based travel luggage maker founded in 1993 by Richard Costa and owned since August 2000 by Richard Krulik's U.S. Luggage LLC. It builds ballistic nylon and hardside spinners, garment bags, backpacks and briefcases across the Baseline, Sympatico and ZDX lines, using its CX compression-expansion system and an Outsider handle mounted outside the case for a flat packing surface.
