Chaco makes outdoor and water footwear built around its Z-strap sandal, a single adjustable webbing strap threaded through a contoured LUVSEAT footbed with a grippy ChacoGrip outsole. The line spans the Z/1 and Z/2 Classic, cushioned Z/Cloud, Chillos slides, closed-toe styles and boots, plus custom strap-print configurations and a resoling repair program. Founded in Paonia, Colorado by whitewater river guide Mark Paigen, the brand has been owned by Wolverine World Wide since 2009 and operates from Rockford, Michigan.
