Champs

Champs Sports is an American mall-based athletic retailer founded in 1984 in Bradenton, Florida by Bill Robinson. It sells sneakers, team apparel, training gear and accessories from Nike, Jordan, adidas, New Balance, Puma and Champion, alongside its own basics, and stocks a broader equipment assortment than most sneaker chains. A Foot Locker, Inc. banner since the Woolworth era, it passed to Dick's Sporting Goods when Dick's completed its purchase of Foot Locker in September 2025. Its footprint has shrunk under recent Foot Locker store-rationalization plans.
