Cutler and Gross is a British eyewear company founded in London in 1969 by opticians Graham Cutler and Tony Gross, who opened a Knightsbridge shop in 1971 and helped turn spectacles into a fashion category. Frames are handmade from acetate at the company's own Italian workshop, with a house look of thick profiles, rounded or angular geometric shapes and colour-blocked acetates. It sells sunglasses and optical frames through boutiques in London, Bath, New York and Toronto, and has collaborated with labels including Mulberry.
