Dansko is a comfort footwear company based in West Grove, Pennsylvania, founded in 1990 by Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup after a European trip introduced them to Danish-style clogs; the name translates roughly as "Danish shoe." Its signature stapled clog uses a contoured arch support, rocker-bottom sole and raised heel, and many styles carry the American Podiatric Medical Association Seal of Acceptance.
