Darn Tough
Darn Tough is a Vermont sock brand launched in 2004 by Ric Cabot to save his family's contract knitting business, Cabot Hosiery Mills, founded by his father Marc in Northfield in 1978. Every pair is knit at the Northfield mill from merino wool and synthetic blends, with fine-gauge construction, seamless toes and an unconditional lifetime guarantee that covers free replacement. The line spans hiking, ski, running, work, tactical and everyday lifestyle styles, plus US military contract socks. The company remains family-owned and independent.
