Drôle de Monsieur

Drôle de Monsieur is a French label founded in 2014 by self-taught designers Dany Dos Santos and Maxime Schwab in Dijon, now headquartered in Paris with a store on rue de Poitou in the Marais. Its "Not From Paris Madame" slogan pieces — printed tees, hoodies and knitwear — established the brand, alongside track jackets, boxy tailoring and 1970s colour palettes crossed with 1990s French rap references. The label staged its first runway show for Fall/Winter 2024, marking a decade in business, and has fronted campaigns with Mike Tyson.
