IISE Seoul
IISE, meaning "second generation" in Korean, is designed by Korean-American brothers Terrence and Kevin Kim, who moved to Seoul in 2011 and now work from a studio and showroom on Itaewon-ro. The label reinterprets Korean references — hanbok-derived layering, nubi quilting, traditional hand-dyeing and architectural detailing — as unisex outerwear, utility bags and footwear, frequently in technical fabrics including GORE-TEX. In October 2023 it rebranded with a new logo and website and opened its Itaewon showroom, designed with local studio Refynd, alongside the "VOL. 1 / NO. 1" collection.
