Joie is an American contemporary womenswear label founded in Los Angeles in 2001 by designer Joie Rucker and business partner Sean Barron; Rucker left the company in 2004 and Serge Azria has led design since. The collections center on relaxed California dressing: silk blouses, printed and tiered dresses, soft knitwear, jumpsuits, denim-friendly separates and leather jackets in neutrals, florals and animal prints. The brand operates from downtown Los Angeles and sells online and through US department stores such as Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue.
