Silk Laundry

Silk Laundry is an Australian label founded in 2015 by Katie Kolodinski, who remains founder and creative director and retains ownership. It built its following on the 90s Slip Dress in 100% sandwashed silk, and works largely in natural fibres — silk charmeuse camisoles, bias skirts, wide-leg trousers, knitwear and heavier silk suiting in muted and jewel tones. Collections are themed around travel, art, history and the natural world, and the brand runs Project 166, a conservation initiative supporting pollinator, coral and habitat projects. It sells direct online and through retailers including SSENSE and Holt Renfrew.
