Kaptain Sunshine

Kaptain Sunshine is a Tokyo menswear label founded in 2013 by Shinsuke Kojima, a former magazine editor from Kobe. The brand reworks vintage American military, naval and workwear archetypes through Japanese fabric development and domestic manufacturing, favoring relaxed volumes, washed wools, cashmere melton coats and easy trousers. Collections span outerwear, tailoring, knitwear and shirting in an ageless, largely genderless register. Kojima opened the label's first flagship in Aoyama in 2025, followed by a Seoul store, alongside stockists across Europe and the US.
