Kate Skateshop

Kate is a core skateshop and streetwear retailer at Rua de Santo Ildefonso 25 in central Porto. Its own site describes it as the city's first core skateshop, founded in 2006 by two skaters who reject skateboarding as a trend or sport. It sells hardgoods, footwear and skate-rooted apparel in-store and online, and functions as a platform for the local scene, staging contests, concerts and exhibitions. Kate also runs Kate Skateschool, an Element-sponsored skate school teaching across Porto, Maia and Matosinhos.
