What to know about LII
LII is a New York womenswear label founded in 2023 by Chongqing-born designer Zane Li shortly after he graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Working from a Chinatown studio, Li drafts garments from flat shapes like architectural blueprints, producing sculptural, minimal silhouettes with slivers of negative space, vivid colour and precise construction. The label debuted for Fall/Winter 2024 and staged its first full New York Fashion Week runway in 2025. Li was named a 2026 LVMH Prize semifinalist, and the brand is stocked by SSENSE.
