Maison Château Rouge is a Paris label founded in 2015 by Youssouf Fofana with his brother Mamadou and Dararith Pach, named after the metro stop in the 18th arrondissement's Goutte d'Or, a historic hub of the African diaspora. It started as a way to fund the founders' Les Oiseaux Migrateurs venture supporting Senegalese businesses. Collections pair West African wax prints, sourced in the neighbourhood, with contemporary streetwear cuts: T-shirts, shirting, tracksuits, jackets, skirts and dresses. The brand operates a Château Rouge boutique and collaborates widely, including Lacoste, Jordan Brand and recurring Monoprix apparel and homeware capsules.
