Misa Los Angeles

MISA Los Angeles is a contemporary womenswear label launched in 2016 by the late Shadi Askari-Farhat, previously founder and designer of tbagslosangeles; the name combines her two daughters' names. The line focuses on occasion and resort dressing — tiered maxi and midi dresses, ruffled and embroidered blouses, cutout knits and coordinated sets in airy fabrics, confident prints and detailed trims — largely handcrafted in Los Angeles. It wholesales to Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Harvey Nichols, Revolve and Shopbop, and opened its first retail store at Palisades Village in 2021.
