My Mum Made It (MMMI) is an independent Brisbane womenswear label founded by self-taught designer Nyree Leckenby, who began sewing dresses from thrifted bed sheets and curtains before turning the hobby into a brand. The name comes from her reply when strangers asked where her dresses were from. Collections centre on babydoll silhouettes, frill and tie details, puff sleeves, bloomers and soft tailored separates in a nostalgic, modern it-girl register. Since 2022 the label has emphasised natural and deadstock fabrics. It remains founder-owned and is stocked internationally by retailers including END.
