Norwegian Rain

Norwegian Rain makes waterproof outerwear in Bergen, one of Europe's rainiest cities. Ghanaian-Norwegian tailor T-Michael and Alexander Helle apply tailoring methods to technical rainwear, cutting coats from Japanese-milled recycled polyester with taped seams and breathable membranes. Signature pieces include the Raincho, a hooded poncho-cape hybrid, alongside single- and double-breasted rain coats and travel-friendly packable styles in muted grey, navy and black. The pair operate a Bergen store next to T-Michael's bespoke tailoring practice and distribute through Japanese and European specialty retailers.
