Oboz Footwear
Oboz — short for "Out of Bozeman" — makes hiking, backpacking, trail and winter footwear from Bozeman, Montana. Founded in 2007 by outdoor-industry veteran John Connelly, with boots reaching stores in 2008, it builds supportive, waterproof leather and mesh boots such as the Bridger, Sawtooth and Katabatic, all fitted with its own contoured O FIT insole. The brand is B Corp certified and emphasizes tree planting and lower-impact materials. It has been owned by New Zealand's Kathmandu Holdings, now KMD Brands, since a 2018 acquisition.
