Oroton

Oroton is an Australian accessories house founded in Sydney in 1938 by Boyd Lane, known for leather handbags and small leather goods and for the metallic mesh compacts and bags it pioneered from the 1950s onward. The range spans totes, crossbody and shoulder bags, wallets, jewellery, sunglasses and a small apparel edit in restrained shapes and neutral tones. The company entered administration in 2017 and was bought in 2018 by major shareholder Will Vicars' Manderrah entity; it trades via Australian and New Zealand boutiques, department stores and online.
