PHILIPPE MODEL
Philippe Model Paris makes chunky, Italian-made sneakers produced in the Riviera del Brenta footwear district, with padded suede-and-mesh uppers, layered soles and contrast heel tabs on core styles such as Tropez, Prsx and Lyon. Founded in Paris in 1978 by designer Philippe Model, known for his elastic-strap "Elastique" heels and work with Dior, Lanvin and Jean Paul Gaultier, the label relaunched as a premium sneaker house in 2008 and later added apparel, hats and socks. Now Milan-based, it was acquired in December 2025 by Veneto group Swinger International from Alessandro Benetton's 21 Invest, majority owner since 2016.
