Sand Cloud
Sand Cloud is a San Diego beach lifestyle label founded in 2014 by San Diego State friends Brandon Leibel, Steven Ford and Bruno Aschidamini, who started by sewing pillows onto beach towels before shifting to flat Turkish cotton towels. A 2016 Shark Tank appearance accelerated growth. The line now spans printed and striped towels, blankets, apparel, bags, sun care and home goods, sold direct online and through wholesale. The brand donates a share of profits to marine conservation groups and runs collaborations, including a Surfrider capsule.
